Mark G. Grossman, MD is an attending orthopaedic surgeon at Winthrop University Hospital who specializes in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. He treats young sports participants, as well as middle-aged and elderly recreational athletes, and serves as the team physician for Adelphi University and local area high schools. He serves as the team physician for the All American Baseball High School Game in Montclair, New Jersey 2003, and the US Army All American Football Game 2003-04, in San Antonio, Texas. With vast experience in the latest arthroscopic technique, Dr. Grossman also utilizes open surgery, when indicated. He performs shoulder, elbow and knee reconstructive procedures, including arthroscopic treatment of rotator cuff tears, shoulder stabilization, elbow reconstruction, ACL reconstruction of the knee and total shoulder replacement. He emphasizes not only rehabilitation, but also training to prevent sports injuries. |
